Our market began as the dream of four local Erskineville residents, who wanted somewhere to purchase delicious, high-quality produce and products each week, provided by local makers who care about food.
As the owner’s of Erskineville Farmers’ Market, we believe that the key to quality is in being able to engage in the food journey with the producer.
Our mission is to host a weekly sustainable and environmentally friendly farmers’ market to serve the needs of the Erskineville community and Sydney’s Inner West, providing a genuine alternative to supermarket shopping and reconnecting consumers with the farmers, producers and artisan makers.
We’re also pretty keen on doing our bit to save the planet so we have a few cool ideas that are integral to our market. We will be a plastic-free zone, keep-cup only market with a focus on supporting and participating in local social enterprises that think like we do.
