I’ve finally recovered from 3 full days of running my stall at the Australian Modern Quilt Show at Petersham Town Hall. I had the great opportunity to run my stall and it was such fun! I met some many lovely people and chatted all things crafty for 3 days, as well as being able to look at all the amazing quilts on display – feeling incredibly inspired!
I was able to showcase my handmade mandalas which went down great – there are only a handful left and they can be found here if you want to check them out. I also had a limited range of hand dyed fabric available – it was great to talk to people about the how they had and interest or had used dyed fabric in different ways, as well as giving me lots of ideas for future quilts!
I also had the lovely Lisa Walton pop by my stall – Lisa expanded my creative journey into dyed fabric about a year an a half ago and I have come a long way since then (and attended many of her workshops)! She is such an inspiration to learn from and am looking forward to learning more from her in the future!
The quilts being displayed all looked amazing – it is so inspiring to see all the wonderful and different quilts on display and all the winners of the different quilt categories were well deserved. The Sydney Modern Quilt Guild ran an absolute amazing show and deserve a big glass of wine for all the work they did! It was a huge success 🙂
Finally, I couldn’t go to a Quilt show with other stall holders and not buy any fabric! I came way with some great goodies from a number of the other lovely vendors at the show – it was great spending 3 days with them all and hope to see them all again.
