I attended Lisa Walton‘s fabulous Surface Design workshop a couple of weekends ago and wanted to show off some of the lovely pieces I made. I have attended many of Lisa’s workshops (I am her groupie) and have learnt a considerable amount from her. The skills I have learnt from her have enabled me to grow considerably in my creative journey, which had lead me to opening Anna Fran Designs (mainly because I had no more room in my flat to but more fabric – disaster I know!).
The one day workshop covered a range of different techniques and we all created some beautiful 12in sample pieces. Below is a little gallery of some of the samples I made – I can’t wait to turn these into something special.
If you want to find out more about the workshop or any others Lisa runs, head over to Lisa Walton‘s website (she is also on Facebook and Instagram) and check out the latest workshops she has organised.
P.S. Lisa didn’t ask for me to write this 🙂 This is based on my own experience and opinions.
